Vintage Rare Trifari “Alfred Philippe” Lucite Jelly Belly Marcasite Brooch
This vintage Trifari brooch is a rare find for any jewellery collector. The piece features a stunning Lucite jelly belly with marcasite detailing in the shape of a penguin.
The piece is signed but the markings are quite worn. Under a loupe the signature of Trifari (most likely crown Trifari) is visible albeit worn (on the rear left wing – see photos)
On the right wing the word pat is just visible. I believe this to be sterling silver but the markings have worn away.
The piece is in excellent vintage condition. The Marcasite is all present and correct with red eye and two blue stone wings.
